A government service ministry that is directly connected to the public to meet many aspects of their daily needs. Through its departments, municipalities, and affiliated centers, it contributes to the advancement of comprehensive development and renaissance in the State of Qatar.
The Ministry provides numerous services to citizens and residents in the areas of municipal services, including internal road maintenance, public cleaning, pest and rodent control, food control, and the locations where it is sold, stored, and traded. It also monitors markets and shops, issues building permits, commercial licenses, and advertises. It also works on establishing public parks and gardens, planting trees, and expanding green spaces throughout the country. It also provides advice and guidance to citizens on the rehabilitation and maintenance of parks.
Building Permits Complex Building:
Building Permits Complex Building: The country is witnessing a major urban renaissance and re-planning of many areas. Therefore, the country's higher authorities have made it necessary to establish a building permit complex representing all parties involved in issuing permits, to facilitate and expedite the issuance of building permits. Gradually, the complex began operating on September 15, 2005. His Excellency the Prime Minister officially opened the complex on Sunday, April 8, 2007.
Development and Building Permits Department - Municipalities:
Studying and approving architectural engineering plans after ensuring their compliance with the architectural specifications and planning requirements in force in the country, and issuing building permits. Studying land use inquiries and preparing a statement clarifying the permitted use and planning and architectural requirements for a specific plot. Preparing technical responses to relevant letters received from governmental or private entities, in coordination with the relevant technical departments.
